This Privacy Policy explains how Property Projection at propertyprojection.co.uk handles information when you use our website.
Your calculator figures and property details are processed in your browser. There are no accounts or hosted scenario database.
Browser storage and exports
The main calculator stores your draft and saved scenarios in localStorage on this device, including any property names and addresses you enter. The standalone rental-yield and cash-flow tools do not save their inputs. Clearing browser site data removes local scenarios. Export JSON before clearing storage; Excel exports are reports, not restorable scenario backups. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to access saved information.
Hosting requests
Render hosts this website and necessarily receives connection information such as your IP address, requested URL and browser headers. Calculator inputs are not sent as part of the calculation. Do not put private information in page URLs or send sensitive exports when reporting an issue.
Optional analytics
When a Google Analytics 4 ID is configured, analytics is loaded only after you choose Allow analytics. Declining does not affect the calculators. We send a small set of action names, such as calculation completed or support link clicked, and a public page path. We do not send entered amounts, addresses, names, emails or exported scenarios. Google may process technical information such as browser details and connection metadata.
Your choice is saved in this browser. You can decline or withdraw here. Withdrawal disables further analytics and removes accessible analytics cookies; data already sent is not recalled.
Why information is used
Connection and diagnostic information is used to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the website, based on the legitimate interests of operating a reliable service. If you contact us, we use the information you choose to provide to respond and resolve your enquiry, on the same basis. Optional analytics is based on your consent; you can withdraw it without losing access to the calculators. We may also process information when required by law.
How long information is kept
Browser-saved scenarios and your analytics choice have no automatic expiry in this app. They remain until you remove the site's data or your browser removes it. Downloaded files remain wherever you save them. We cannot remotely retrieve or delete these local copies. Keep a backup before clearing site data.
Hosting logs are retained according to the hosting service's configured retention and operational needs. Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to answer them, deal with follow-up questions or disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations. Any optional analytics retention depends on the analytics account settings.
Service providers and international processing
Render provides hosting. Google provides optional analytics only when configured and permitted by your choice. These providers may process technical information outside the UK. Their notices explain their processing and international-transfer arrangements: Render privacy notice and Google privacy policy. Your calculator scenarios are not uploaded to these services by the app.
Your choices and rights
You can edit your saved scenarios, export them or clear this website's data in your browser settings. Delete downloaded copies separately. Avoid entering tenant names or other unnecessary personal information.
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law gives you rights to access, correct or erase personal information, restrict or object to its use, and receive portable copies. These rights are subject to legal conditions and apply to information we actually hold. Contact us using the contact page to make a request or raise a concern. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

We will update this page when the service or its data practices change and revise the date above.
